We would suggest using the latest software versions of your web, tablet or mobile devices to get the most of of using the Eventifyit site. The main web browsers are Chrome - Safari - Edge.

Older versions of this software may have slight issues in terms of unexpected layout css errors when using this site, so it is best to always be updated with any upgrades to the web browser so that this does not occur.

At the moment there are a few limitations on using the Evenitifyit iOS App due to our site not being a Native App.

We plan to have a Native App of the Eventifyit site in the future but not at this early stage

Limitions are:

1) No Facebook Login - When this is solved we will add it to the site

2) Add Event to Calendar button - On the event profile page, the Apple ios button will take you to the web browser of the event page so you can add your event to your Calendar. This is a workaround until Apple solve this issue.

1) Uploading images show upside down when displayed

This error mostly happens on Android mobile and tablet devices. To correct this error when you take photos you need to hold your device in the correct way ie the 'TAKE photo button' should be on the right hand side of the device as you look at it. Doing this will correct the error and your photos will be displayed the right way up

To do a standard search, go to the home page or the search settings panel and type in your chosen UK city, town or village etc. Our system will then do a search based on your search criteria to find events in your chosen area.

All events categories will be displayed at first. You can then focus your search by clicking on the Events, Sports, Social and Classes coloured tabs at the top of the search results page to define what type of events you want to view at any one time.

You can find events up to one year before the start date by clicking on the date panel at the top of the page and selecting the month you wish to view. Please note that some organisers will only upload their event a few months or weeks before the start date.

The Eventifyit site uses multi-strips to display all of your search results. The benefit of using multi-strips is it allows you to view a wide range of events without having to scroll miles to find them!

Unlike many other events sites, we have a lot of event categories. Our aim is to give you full control of your own search results by allowing you to hide event categories that don’t interest you. If you change your mind, you can always reactivate them at any time.

In the search results, you will see a wide range of local events in your chosen location. Clicking on the bottom grey panel of that event will allow you to view more information.

Please note that if you click on an event direct link, it will automatically take you directly to their website. Also, depending on whether they have the ‘like’ button turned on, if clicked on, it will take you to an alternative profile page so you can like that event. You can then click on the ‘visit website’ button within that profile page to go directly to their website.

Add to Calendar - At Eventifyit, you can add any event to your computer, tablet or mobile device’s built in calendar system by clicking on the calendar icon on the event profile page and adding that event.

Repeat reminder - If you belong to a local group that runs each week or so, you can set the calendar to send you a repeat reminder each time so you never miss the event, depending on your device.

iOS Calendar - PLEASE NOTE If you are using an Iphone or Ipad you will need to click on the Apple iOS button instead. This will load the web browser of the event page. Then click on the 'Apple' button to add that event to your event calendar. After you have added the event click on the < Eventifyit link at the top left of the screen and it will take you back to the Eventifyit App.

For non-members, event notifications allow local organisations and businesses to promote their events by giving you updates about forthcoming events. This means you can be kept informed without having to view the event profile page each time.

To view local event notifications, simply go to your search results page and click on the blue bell icon to load the event notifications pages.

Becoming a member of Eventifyit is free. You will be able to save your own event notifications and receive emails from local organisations and businesses about their events.

Event display banners allow event organisers to add simple messages like New Members Wanted, Buy Tickets or New Event Date. This is to attract your attention and hopefully get you to have a look at the event organiser’s profile page.

At Eventifyit, we do not have our own ticketing system at the present time but this will be added in the future.

Instead, we allow event organisers to link to an alternative ticketing service where you can buy or get free tickets for that event. Clicking the ticket button on the event profile page will take you to a ticketing website, allowing you to obtain tickets for the event.

To tell your friends about a particular event that you think will interest them, go to the chosen event profile page. At the top of the page, you will see a range of social media buttons to choose from.

Click on one of the icons and a pop-up window will display with details of the selected event for you to add a Facebook post or email for example.

To contact a particular event organiser, go to their event profile and click on the Contact Us tab. From there, you will be able to Email, Phone, Visit Website, and if activated, be able to contact them via Messenger or WhatsApp.

By creating a free account on the Eventifyit site you will be able to:

* Save Search Settings
* Save - Multiple UK Search Location
* Save - Event Favourites
* Save - Event Notifications & Receive Event Emails
* Add - Your Own Event Profile
* Add - Your Own Business Profile

As a member, you will be able to save your own event notifications. To do this, simply click on the blue bell icon and your event messages will go into the subscribed notification page on the Eventifyit site, where you will need to log in to view them. You will also receive a newsletter email from the event organiser to keep you up to date with that event.

You can unsubscribe to their email at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email. If you wish to stop receiving all notifications from this event, go to the event page and click on the blue bell icon to turn it off.

To add an event to your favourites panel, click on the heart icon on the event profile page. The event will be added to your favourites list which can be viewed at the top of the main search result page

To delete from your favourites list, click on the heart icon again to turn it off.

To like an event, you must log in, go to the chosen event profile page and click on the thumb icon to like that event. Clicking on the link will add +1 to the counter so people can see that others are interested in attending the event.

You can delete your like by clicking on the thumb icon again to turn it off.

Event organisers can add an ‘Are You Going To Event?’ button to their event. The benefit of this is it allows you to tell the event organiser you are planning to go to that event. Clicking the button adds an ‘I’m Going To Event’ banner on the search results page to remind you about that event, so you don’t forget to go!

To become a member of Eventifyit go to the login page, and fill in your details to create a free account. Click Here

You can also use your Facebook account to create an Eventifyit account by clicking on the Facebook icon on the register form page.

If you have not received your verification email please first check your email spam folder as some times they can go into the spam folder my mistake.

If you have still not received a email from us after 15 minutes, then please click on this link below. Login with your Email and Password and our system will confirm that your Account is Active or not. If Not then please click on the link below which will send you a new email for you to activate your account.Click Here

If you forget your password, please go to the login page Click Here and click on the forgot password tab, type in your email address and we will email you a link for you to update your password.

If you wish to Logout of your Eventifyit account please follow these steps:

1. Go to home page and click on MY MENU button nere top of screen

2. Click on 'Add/Edit Event' button at top of screen

3. At top of screen scroll on main menu until you see the section 'Logout'
Press the Logout button and you will be Logout of your Eventifyit account.

Please go to the particular event profile and at the bottom of the page click on the report site button.

At Eventifyit our admin team will add new events happening in your area, which might not be controlled by the actual event organisers. The aim is to show visitors as many local events as possible in their area. If you are the actual event organisers, you can apply to take over the ownership of your event.

You will need to create an account with Eventifyit, which is free and then go to the event profile to request the ownership of that event. Our admin team will be in contact with you to confirm that you own/run the event before it will be transferred.

If you wish to delete your Eventifyit account please go to your User control panel and going to the 'My Account' page. At the bottom of this page is a button called 'Delete Profile' When you click this button your account and all details about you and any events or businesses you have uploaded to our site will be deleted from the Eventifyit database. If you try to login again you will not be able to do so unless you re-register.
